About EmPower HER 423
Empower HER 423 isn’t just a program—it’s a movement transforming the health and wellness of women in Hamilton County. Powered by Sista RN & Friends, Inc., we serve women tackling mental and physical health challenges head-on. Through preventative care, fitness programs, mental health workshops, and access to fresh food, we’re not just helping women survive—we’re helping them thrive.
OUR IMPACT
We’re making waves. Last year, Empower HER 423 engaged 135 women, with
75% reporting an improved understanding of preventative healthcare
—and it’s showing. More women are attending screenings, making healthier choices, and transforming their lifestyles. Our events are buzzing with energy, backed by a growing Facebook community of 339 members, local nursing students, and professional organizations. This is real change, and it’s just the beginning.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Our secret weapon? Listening to the community. We’ve partnered with the City of Chattanooga and connected with the community through listening sessions at community centers to shape programs that matter. We also teamed up with the Chattanooga Office of Community Health to train local nurses in cultural diversity and social media outreach—ensuring more culturally competent care and better communication.
SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
We’re playing the long game. Empower HER 423 is driving sustainable change by increasing access to fresh food through community gardens, expanding fitness programs, and enhancing preventative care. This is more than a quick fix—it’s a blueprint for lasting health equity.
